They are the information and legal terms for our rentals. They basically says that you pay us to take the stuff, use it for a time, and then return it in the same condition as when you took it.

When can I pick the stuff up?Back To Top

Any time after we open, on the first day of your rental contract period.

What do I need to bring when I pick the stuff up?Back To Top

You will need to have a valid Wisconsin identification card or drivers license, a major credit card, and a verifiable, local phone number. Care of the equipment listed on the rental agreement will be your personal responsibility even when you allow others to use it. No matter what. Sorry, out-of-state ID is not acceptable. The name on the credit card and the valid Wisconsin identification card or drivers license must be identical.

When is it due back?Back To Top

Any time before 2 p.m. on the return date of your rental agreement.

What if I'm going be late?Back To Top

The first thing you should do is give us call. So we at least know what is going on. We know, stuff happens. But if the equipment is to go out again later that day, we have a chance to make some adjustments. Just remember, the rental clock stops ticking the moment you get the stuff back to us. We charge by the days you have it out, not by days you may have used it. We clock from "out-the-door," to "in-the-door."

What if I don't bring it back at all?Back To Top

Good question. It's one of those things you can discuss with the district attorney. Wisconsin has very specific laws regarding the non-return of rental property. It's a felony. And that is no fun.

What if something is lost or "broken?"Back To Top

That's simple. You pay us for it. Either the repair or replacement cost, which ever is less.

Can I reserve equipment in advance?Back To Top

Yes. Call and make arrangements as soon as you know what equipment you will need and when.

If I'm renting frequently can I get a discount?Back To Top

We handle each situation on a case by case basis. The truth is, if you need the equipment on regular basis, you just might be better off buying instead of renting. We also have several resources for financing a purchase as well. When you come in we can talk about it.

No problem. Tell use what you want to achieve, and when, and we can figure out the most effective and least expensive way to "get'er done." Frequently, especially for us, the solution is no where near as difficult as it may appear to you.

General Rental Guidelines and Procedures: (from the rental contract)Back To Top

The renter agrees this is a contract of rental only, and not of sale, and that the above listed item(s) shall remain at all times the property of Good'nLoud Music.
The renter has examined the item(s), found them to be in good working order, and will return them in like condition.
The renter will pay promptly when due all charges accruing under this rental contract, including any charges for damages or loss to said item(s), and any and all actual costs of collection.
If the renter fails to return said item(s) on or before the contract due date, the renter shall become liable for the full replacement value of the item(s), and rent shall continue to accrue at the daily rate, whether the item(s) are in use or not until the item(s) have been returned or the full replacement value has been paid, which ever is greater.
The renter agrees that at any time after the contract due date all outstanding amounts owed to Good'nLoud Music may be charged to the renter's credit card without any further notification.
Good'nLoud Music is not responsible for any level of knowledge or expertise the renter may or may not have with regard to the operation or use of the item(s). The renter assumes and accepts full responsibility for the operation of the item(s) and the results produced therefrom, and shall not hold Good'nLoud Music responsible in any manner whatsoever.
The renter accepts full responsibility for any and all injuries or accidents caused directly or indirectly to themselves or others, their property or another's, in the use of the item(s) and shall not hold Good'nLoud Music responsible in any manner whatsoever.
The current replacement value for the listed item(s) is entered at bottom of the signed rental contract.
